Logo and brand guidelines
The Lambda logo and all other Lambda brand assets are proprietary and integral to the company’s identity and differentiation. These materials may not be used, reproduced, or distributed in any form without prior written authorization from Lambda.

Our logo
The λ isn’t just our logo — it’s our mathematical spirit animal. A lambda function takes something messy and turns it into something meaningful, which is exactly what we do for AI workflows. Because this symbol and our brand assets define who we are, they can’t be used without Lambda’s explicit written permission.

The horizontal logo lockup is our primary logo and should be used for most communications.

The vertical lockup should only be used when there are space or size constraints, but the context requires showing the full logo, e.x. on a digital display.
Acceptable use
Examples of approved logo usage include:
- For co-branding with partner logos
- When Lambda is a sponsor
- In a group of logos alongside other companies (“logo garden”).
- In educational or research applications that use Lambda technologies and products.
Clearspace
The clear space zone ensures the legibility and impact of the logo by isolating it from competing visual elements such as text or supporting graphics. (Think of it as setting proper boundaries — something both good logos and good APIs require.)
For our horizontal logo, a good guiding principle is to use the space between the logo mark (X) and the word mark as the minimum clear space surrounding the full logo.
For our vertical logo, a good guiding principle is to use the space from the logo mark (X) and the bottom of the word mark as the minimum clear space surrounding the full logo.
Minimum size
The Lambda logo must be represented as large and bold as possible. When faced with space limitations, these are the minimum sizing requirements to ensure the logo is legible.
Colors
The Lambda logo should always be used in a color that ensures strong contrast and clear visibility against the background. When placing the logo over photos, gradients, or textures, make sure there is enough contrast so the logo remains legible and impactful. Avoid using the logo on backgrounds that compromise visibility or clash with brand colors.
The shell (light) logo is reserved specifically for use on black, or dark backgrounds.
The terminal (or dark) logo should be used on light or neutral backgrounds.
Brand Partnerships
When pairing the wordmarks with partner logos, maintain balanced spacing and clear hierarchy. Avoid placing logos too close to one another, ensuring sufficient space to preserve clarity and visual impact.
