Lambda appoints Charles Fisher as Chief Financial Officer

Seasoned finance executive brings decades of experience to support Lambda’s continued growth

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, FEBRUARY 19, 2026 Lambda, the Superintelligence Cloud, today announced the appointment of Charles Fisher as Chief Financial Officer. Fisher will lead Lambda’s capital strategy and financial operations as the company enters its next phase of growth.

Fisher joins from Turo, the world’s largest car-sharing marketplace, where he served as Chief Financial Officer and, prior to that, as EVP of Corporate Finance & Development at Charter Communications, the second largest broadband provider in the US. With his deep experience managing large, complex balance sheets, he’ll be instrumental in expanding Lambda’s capital markets capabilities to support its continued rapid growth.

"Lambda is building the world’s AI infrastructure; this effort requires the thoughtful formation and allocation of capital at a massive scale,” said Stephen Balaban, co-founder and CEO of Lambda. “Charles brings decades of experience from some of the fastest-growing and most capital-intensive businesses in America.”

Fisher succeeds Heather Planishek, who stepped into the CFO role from Lambda’s Board of Directors to strengthen Lambda’s financial operations and scale the team during this critical phase in the company’s evolution. Fisher’s appointment comes as Lambda continues to expand its leadership in AI infrastructure, serving a growing base of enterprise and hyperscale customers.

“Lambda is building critical foundations for the AI-driven economy,” said Fisher. “I’m energized by the company’s ambition and the scale of the opportunity ahead. Building the financial infrastructure and capital framework to support sustained, long-term growth will be a key priority as Lambda continues to rise to meet the growing need for hyperscale AI infrastructure.”
